Comments: This blog is an open forum to discuss the Regenerate History Project (RHP). RHP is a learning program whereby students, teachers, and community members connect with one another through a collaborative history education process. Integrating youth leadership development, community engagement, and historical consciousness, RHP enables students to become leaders; to assess, access, and enhance community resources; to conduct historical research; to develop social consciousness; to document work creatively; and to share their projects with the public. Comments: Thank you for establishing such an incredible opportunity for people to take their-story back into their own hands. From what I have been told and read I truly believe that this project will not only document history but will empower communities and especially young people with knowledge and experience. Identity is so important to our youth and their ability to share with others has a huge impact on progress for our communities and education in so many ways. Thank you for bringing education and history back to the people and bringing together people who truly need to be linked to make that important impact. This can really be a liberating experience.

Comments: Thank YOU, Mauricio! Your support is deeply appreciated! Yes, learning history through our personal stories and relationships can indeed be liberating! The Regenerate History Project is powered by the Courier Network - a web of students, educators, and community “Couriers” who carry RHP into schools and communities. Participating in RHP institutes, Couriers develop ownership of RHP as they learn RHP methods and share their own best practices. Couriers support the relationships and outcomes vital to Regenerate History – they connect schools, families, and communities, and they encourage the spreading of students’ projects through public venues and networks. It\\\\\\\'s our honor to invite you to become a Community Courier! Please let us know if you would like to participate. - Sophie and the RHP Team
