Comments: I am looking for information regarding a WWII internment camp that may have existed in the area of the Casa Solana addition in Santa Fe. When I came to SF in 1959 we lived on Alamo Drive. Friends and I would walk in the hills to the north, exploring the remains of some buildings that we were told were part of an internment camp. Shortly after that (1960?) the area was leveled and the Casa Solana Clubhouse was built there. I noticed a reference on this site to an Internment Camp project involving Carlos Gilbert School, but the link is dead. I have found reference to a couple of books on the subject but have not yet located them (books on NM are a bit rare up here in Wisconsin). In addition, I am intereseted in hearing from anyone who knew Santa Feans who were part of the 200th Coast Artillery Bt. I had a childhood friend whose father may have been in that unit. Thanks, wb
