Comments: In the mid-fifties my father purchased a property in Guachapanque (between Espanola and Santa Clara Pueblo) that had belonged to a Ms. True who had worked at Santa Clara Pueblo for years. In a back room of the house was a very large, and long, beam placed against the back wall. My father was told that it was from \"one of the original ferries used to cross the Rio Grande. I saw the beam a number of times but don\'t believe it still exist in the area.
